It’s been a busy August at Bollabo, with a mix of launches, bug hunting, server moves and behind-the-scenes progress across a few key projects:

  • Translated Lisconn’s website into German and Hindi: Using a combination of AI and WPML in WordPress, we delivered full multilingual versions of the Lisconn site – including all content, navigation and forms.
  • Identified and reported a Stripe plugin bug in WooCommerce: We discovered a major issue where customer baskets were being emptied when multiple bookable items were added. This was caused by a conflict between WooCommerce Bookings and Stripe. This bug affected every Stripe install worldwide using that setup. We submitted a full report, and WooCommerce used the information to diagnose and fix the issue.
  • Recovered Southport FC’s website after a full outage: After their hosting provider deleted critical files, we rebuilt and reconfigured the site to get it back online quickly, preserving all existing content in the process.
  • Launched the new Tool Sales UK website: We migrated the site from an ageing Magento setup to a clean, modern WooCommerce store. Making it faster, easier to manage, and better aligned with how customers browse and buy products.
  • Optimised products on Central Timber’s website: We restructured how products are displayed and grouped to make it easier for customers to find and buy what they need, supported by improved content using AI. As a result, August sales are up 20% compared to the same month last year.
  • Completed a full web server migration: Moved all our sites to a new environment with better performance, more storage, and improved reliability.
  • Built and launched this very website: The new Bollabo site is now live. Focused on what we actually deliver: smart, practical design and software. We’re updating it daily to reflect our latest work, client stories, and how we use AI, automation, and real-life humans across projects.
