Ahead of the 2025–26 season, we created a new fixture graphic concept for Southport FC — offering a more visual, fan-friendly way to present the full season at a glance.

Most clubs at this level still release fixtures in plain list format — functional, but easy to miss or forget. We wanted to raise the bar by creating something structured, bold, and easy to digest. Inspired by trends in higher leagues, our grid-style layout includes opponent badges, dates, and home/away indicators, all built around a clean and shareable format.

The background features Haig Avenue, reinforcing the club’s identity, while colour coding and spacing help make the whole season immediately scannable. It’s the kind of asset that works on social media, looks great printed, and actually helps fans follow the team.

In the end, Southport FC decided to go with a different internal layout this season. That’s part of working with real clubs — you back the team regardless of what makes it onto the timeline.

That said, we’ll be using this style ourselves as part of our work with Southport FC Women, where we manage all social media graphics and matchday visuals. Once the women’s fixtures are confirmed, we’ll be presenting them in the same clear, accessible format.

Even when not used, we stand by the idea: better design makes communication clearer, builds connection with supporters, and gives clubs a more professional image. We’ll keep pushing for smarter visuals at all levels of the game.
